Off the road

Sometimes the best moments in life are found off the road...

So, let's take a road map in our hands, sit in the car and explore.
There are hidden treasures of your land everywhere. You just need to open your eyes, be open for new perspectives and make some space for new impressions.

Your land is your land (literally) or your body... Allow yourself to start a new journey into unknown; it can be just for a day or two. It's worth it!

Green-land

There's a land in Slovenia I call 'Green-land'. Everything is green: the woods, the fields, the meadows, even the river...

I was lucky this year - I could spend some free days there at the end of April. Just the right time to find the nature in all its green glory. Bright greens, dark greens, sap greens, emerald greens, yellow-greens, olive greens, 'you-name-it' greens... The Earth is Art indeed!

It was impossible to take only one picture of this Paradise. You know me... - there's so much to see, so much to explore.

Playing with blurry backgrounds and blooming trees...

...and lying down on the grass.

'Beauty is where you find it' - and I like to find it in the ordinary, everyday things. They calm me down, give me energy and inspire me. They are a big part of my life...

What's your favourite green-land?

Great escapes

The theme of photoproject 'Beauty is where you find it' (#BIWYFI) in February was: Escape daily routine.

I should first admit that my biggest escape happened on that day, when I packed my bags and escaped to Austria. Many holidays that I’ve spent over the years in Austria leaded me to the place, where I said: I want to live here. And here I am.

When you find your place under the Sun, which means everything to you, it is not hard to find also the ‘thing’ that pulls you away from the daily routine.

My (great) escapes out of daily routine, away from loud kids, away from action, alarming state…, are to be found in nature. Between the mountains and the lake. Here I feel safe, here I feel wonderful.

Every day nature shows a new face, that inspires me. Every day I’m looking forward to my little great escapes. Every day I’m thankful for every moment I spent here, where my heart sings. And this year, February was unbelievably giving, unforgettable!

I really hope that your escapes from daily routine are inspiring, refreshing and unforgettable too. And if not (yet), listen to the whispers inside you, pack your ‘bags’ and take the time off. You won’t regret it!

(Or check the link above and get inspired by different kinds of escapes that all the photoproject’s participants shared on that blog).

Earth of plenty

The last few months I was lucky enough to spend some time in Nature's lap. I could see how mother Earth took care of her child (- Nature) and made her feel good.

From time to time she washed her and showered her. For the holidays she dressed her into white. With the wind she helped the Nature to fix her hair. And with the singing birds she gently woke her up. When you are so close to this magnificant being, like in a womb of mother Earth, you don't have any words left. Quietly you listen to the beating of big heart, decanting of blood (the rivers and streams) through the blood vessels, surrendering to the rhythm which takes you away. The time flies, but you feel fulfilled and happy - in the world of abundance, the world of plenty.

I hope, the day, when I will be able to share this love to Earth with kids and you, is near. That we all get closer to Nature, to caress her with our creative hands and to whisper tender lullabies to her ear. The time in the womb, in silence, is almost over..., the birth is near by and hopefully there will be enough time for new experiments, explorations - with the camera or without it. Although, I must admit, the silence is so full of rich words..., that it is hard to leave this safe and fulfilling world.

The Earth of plenty is round and it never ends. It gives, gives, gives in so many different ways, that we would finally see, understand, take and give - like she does. I've never met such a creative, universal being as the Earth is. Therefore, dear Earth, all the best and let me touch you and feel you for many, many more years. Thank you!

With spirit

There are places with the spirit..., no matter how many people come there, no matter how many confusing thoughts cross the air, no matter what you do there...

The spirit is powerful, pure, eternal.

I love to visit that kind of places, I love to come back and check the energy there. I like to observe people and their reactions when the spirit touches their hearts. What a magic, what a joy!!

I'm glad that the powerful spirit selects some special places on Earth and desides to tame them, no matter what people do or say. Some places should be left in the 'hands' of creative spirit forever!

Have you ever been to any places, tamed by the powerful creative spirit?
