Surprises, surprises

What if we would do something like that more often? Spreading your talents (in your unique way) among people when they would least expected it? Among unknown people, colleagues, friends... Simply, you would lay down your 'luggage' and let yourself to be in the moment - in the moment which awakens your desire to give away your talent, your joy, your happiness (which you can feel when you let the flow takes you into its hands).

I wish we would do that more often. I wish we would experince that more often...

I used to surprise kids with my illustrations, drawn esp. for them (with their characteristics and nature), but now I always feel like I don't have time for that anymore. The above video (and some others - browse for the tag 'flash mob' if you're interested) reminded me, how happy I was doing that back then...

Question #3:

Which talent would you spread around if you were brave enough - whenever, wherever?

PS: The question is part of the game ?Giving thanks, giving gifts'. Join us! (You can find the rules in one of the previous posts here and all the questions in all December posts). Rejoyce with us! and have fun

In one of the Sience museums they gave us a task to sit on a wheel chair and test ourselves with it. There were the obstacles that people on wheel chairs face in their daily life - every single day.

What a challange! And we only had to try this within a few square meters!

And these days, while learning a foreign language, I watched the movies with the subtitles for deaf-and-dumb and thought, that I must dedicate one of December posts to all the people who take care of the disabled people

I would like to say thanks to all inventors who make our lives easier by inventing instruments that help us to be 'us' again. And thank you to all those people who stand beside disabled, day and night, all their life... if necessary.

But I would also like to say thanks to all disabled, because they are my example, how fully I should live my life, and how should I cherish everything I have and everything I am. Thank you!

Question #2:

What kind of obstacle disables you in your life or of which obstacle are you affraid of? (And you're thankful for the instrument that helps you to be you or you are thankful for the perfectly working and whole Self).

My obstacle are the eyes as I don't see well. Sometimes I'm scared that my sight will get worse, and I just can't imagine my life without my sight! I would do everything to see clearly again! How about you?

Power of One

Have you ever wondered where's your place in this World? What can we really do among so many other people doing 'their' things?

I like to imagine that I am like one of the cells in my body... I do my job every day, I do the things that I feel I need to do, I do them the best I can. If I wander away from my direction, the World will get sick, just as we get sick when our cells stop functioning the way they supposed to...

So, I do believe every person on this planet is important. I count, you count, we count. I rely on you, you rely on me - in order to stay well and happy. I believe in the power of One.

Because of my belief, my next question is: 'What I can do to help others follow their direction?' I can't tell them where to go or what to do. They need to follow their own path, their own inner map. So, I help them in many different ways. As you know, I help some with art therapy and phototherapy techniques. I help the others with my little books and illustrations. This year I started to help with my images, my photos - transformed into greeting cards, they have a special mission to help people follow their paths. Find out how we do it in our Vision & Verb Shoppe, where you can find and buy our images and help too.

We are helping people via non-profit organization Kiva. They do a great job and I'm really happy to know that the power of one makes such a wonderful change in the World. We want every cell of our bodies to stay healthy, and we can gain this doing what we can at this moment, on this day and every day!

Do you believe in the power of One? How do you help, how can we help and how do you like our idea of helping the others? Is it worth it?
