Scents like culture

Whenever I hear the word culture, the first thing that comes on my mind is a book: especially that kind of a book that was used a lot, read million times, with the inviting scent and selected with a great care. The loveliest is the one, written by hand, decorated, colorful and irreplaceable...

Transient

I love the books because I can create my own visions, my own 'movies' when reading them; besides, I can find interesting words, sentences, thoughts in them with which I can play in my mind or on paper far after the book has been read. With books I can freely use my own imagination and give it wings. My way!

Today it was a Cultural day in Slovenia. How would I like to spend a Cultural day (or every day)? Absolutely among the scenting books in a big library and maybe even with a lovely surprise like this one - with my favourite music, in joyfulness and spontaneousness...:

We should have used our creativity and imagination more often and let them take us into their own direction, don't you think? We should have jumped into creative flow more often and with more courage...

What would be your favourite way of celebrating the Cultural day?

#5: Above

Sometimes we're walking in the air and pretend everything's all right. Sometimes we can see the whole picture from above: the dreams, the scenes from our lives, the drama that we play on the stage... Sometimes we let ourselves to be those children who haven't had any limitations for their dreams.

Today, I'm thankful for all those people who dare to walk in the air, dare to be different, dare to take a distance from the stage of every day life.

I invite you to walk in the air and let yourself go with a flow, and then answer the next question, without any limits, without any doubts:

Question #5: What is your biggest dream (no limitations, please) at this moment?

And just a little reminder (if you don't read our Lab's news...) - dare to walk into Xmas village and join us in a magical world - at least for a day... Read all about it here.

#4: Stitches

How many times in our lives we are hurt by someone we know or don't know? It hurts and makes us think about what and who is important in our lives. But life goes on and the scars are left on our skin if the wounds are not treated the right way.

Good things or bad things can be presented in many ways. I think it's important to say something to someone at the right time, the right place and at the right moment. With the right words, of course.

(work in progress from our Montessori school

So today, I would like to thank all those people who are trying to be gentle with the others and who use stitches only to mend what fell apart. I thank those people who don't use sharp words to hurt people on purpose. I thank them for their care.

Question #4:

How would you tell the 'bad news' to someone? Would you make sure the wound would be healed?

#3: Transparency

When we had phototherapy workshop last year and we had to work on ourselves (of course!), I discovered, that a very important word in my life is transparency.

I like to see all the layers behind the layer in front of me... - either it is in nature, in art works or in people. I like when people don't put a big wall in front of them and don't show you who they are... Or they put layers of make-up and hide behind the mask to not show you who they are.

I don't see the point of not showing my-Self to the others. How I can have a conversation with someone if I pretend to be someone else? What's the point? Whom am I fooling here??

Transparency is something that it is there, but you decide if you want to look for every layer. It's your choice will you see all the layers together or will you choose only one of them and explore that one...

Yes, transparency is very important in my life: in nature, in my works and in my-Self.

Question #3:

What word is important in your life?
