Like father, like son

Working as a teacher gave me a great opportunity to observe how kids can become copies of their parents sometimes.

Transient

The same gestures, the same melody of voice, the same rolling eyes, the same perfectionism, the same compassion, the same generosity... Sometimes I'm happy to see the great qualities that parents 'pass onto' their children, and sometimes I'm sad, because children behave exactly the same as their parents, even if the behavior is destructive. Parents sometimes forget how important they are in their children's lives. Children are like sponges - they soak in everything they see and feel.

So, today, I would like to thank all the parents who are aware what an impact they have on their children. They are good example to their children, they try hard to radiate the best of their Self, and are a 'model' to their children.

Question #8:

What did you take over from your parents while observing them?

I'm slow...

...and I'm proud of it!

Transient

Well, I'm not reaaaaaally slow, but if you compare me with the others, you might say I am 'slow'. I was many times reminded about it, and because of that I was sad, disappointed and angry on myself because I couldn't change.

It is different today. I am prud to be slow! I started to appreciate my slowness, because when I'm slow, I'm also focused, peaceful inside, I do everything with my soul and I am persistent. Yes, I always reach the goal (going a long way round or straight), slowly, but  assured to reach the goal. I pore over the work and listen to my feelings. I don't give up, I don't give up. Because of my slowness, I can't do the work carelessly, in a hurry. I can't watch the time passing by, while the feelings didn't even wake up!

I don't want to be no-slow. I want to be me! That's why I proudly confess: I am slow and I am very thankful for this gift!

Question #7:

Do you also have an attribute that you're proud of, but the others find it annoying?
