Enjoying the spirit of Monet...

among the paintings...

among the water lilies...

with a feeling of perfection in a relaxing environment...

Beauty can be found inside, beauty can be found outside... It depends where we turn into...

And at the end some little pieces of Monet to take with me. Maybe even some for the workshops next week?

Who's spirit inspires you? Enjoy the creative process!

When I'm exploring other countries, I want to learn about the times the country went through over the time...

About modern times...

(toilet anybody?)

and about old times...

(toilet anybody?)

Is there an era you'd like to explore and learn more about? Why?

As you can see, I can't stop learning the things that Austria is offering... I hope you're enjoying my 'travels' too.

Like I said... one of the important activities on my vacation is: cycling. Austria is super great for that. You will find signs everywhere, some marvellous cycling roads, maps to find the roads,... 'you-name-it'.

I absolutely love it there! I feel like a child, enjoying the wind in my hair...

Sometimes I take my bike with me, but sometimes I rent a bike there. You can find mountain bikes, city bikes, trekking bikes, big or small bikes, solar bikes... to rent.

Yes, I like cycling. And I like cyclists too. They inspire me, and I have hard times not taking pictures of them. Today, I'm sharing one of those pictures with you. It's my contribution to Luzia Pimpinella photo of the week theme: 'two'.

Yeap: two people, two bikes, two dogs, two cyclists at the back! Ok, but only one map ;). Enjoy the wheels and keep going! See you soon!

Whenever I spend my vacation in Austria (or anywhere else), there are a few things I need to do and see. Hiking, cycling and spending time in nature are on the list. And then there's a big thing called: art. Either visiting museums, galleries, or art studios... - there has to be something that pleases my eyes.

Maybe, from all my images that you mostly see on my blog, you would think I'm in love with white. But actually, I like colors very, very much too. Esp. on art works. But today, I chose white art works to show you. Because they have a special meaning to me. They spoke to my heart.

I wondered how fragile they looked and innocent. Who would dare to touch them, hold them? They were just too white, too delicate to be touched. I even wondered if they'd break just by looking at them!

But then I looked at that detail of this art work:

What does that remind you of? Doesn't it look like teeth? And I thought how strange - our teeth look fragile and sensitive, but in reality, they are strong like a rock.

So, this is an image I chose for the Kat Sloma's Photo-Heart Connection of the month January. When going through the images in January, this was the image that spoke to me, saying that although we might feel fragile, we can still be strong and 'bite' through the 'food' we don't like.

Check the other Photo-Heart Connections there and enjoy in white winter (we've finally got some snow!).

Time flies

Today I'll start a journey... I will start a 2-months long course, to which I will dedicate my time, my heart and soul. Because of my other activities, my time will be limited, so for a while, there will be less talking here on this blog, but more pictures, yay!

I'm far better expressing myself with pictures rather than words, so this will be easier for me (to keep in touch) and exciting too! I hope you will find my post interesting and inspirational! Let me know!

See ya' - soon!
